Answer to Running After Antelope
story: 1963
2. Why would they go out at night?
--The boys in the story go out at night because animals go out to hunt at night and then when the sun rises they go back to their home. So the boys want to catch the animals before they go back in. The quote, "Some animals sleep in the daytime and go out at night to eat. If we hurry we can catch them before they go back in the ground." shows that the boys go out at night to hunt for animals. They mainly catch little animals and his brother uses them for science and to study them.
