Transformations Topics and Questions
Question #25.
Explain the significance of stanzas two through eight of "The Twelve Dancing Princesses."

Answer:
The Stanzas seem to explain that everyone has a daily routine or a double life that they can't seem to stop. Other cases may be they have a problem that the person is trying to hide from other people. Like throughout the poem the twelve princesses were trying to hide what they did during the night. The dancing represented the problem or routine that the other characters in stanzas two through eight have. The stanzas give the idea that at one point a person can have multiple personalities like for example be one person during the day and another totally different person at night.
